Concealed Firearms Training

Service Description

This training provides fundamental firearms safety training and an overview of the law surrounding open carry and concealed carry of firearms in Virginia and other jurisdictions. This training also includes range time for qualification. Successful completion of this class will enable participants to apply for a Concealed Handgun Permit within the Virginia locality in which they live. This training is required by Virginia law prior to the issuance of a Concealed Handgun Permit.
